Adventure Travel, Film and Television Production
The Solomon Islands is the third largest archipelago in the South Pacific. There are 992 islands extending 1667 km SE from Papua New Guinea. The islands are infrequently visited by tourists and is the Pacific's best kept secret.
The earliest settlement in the Solomons by the Lapita people was about 4000 years ago. The outlying islands of the Solomons have been settled by Polynesians. The Polynesians were noted for their ocean voyages over great distances using canoes.

In 1568 the Spanish explorer Mendana reached Santa Isabel Island and spent 6 months sailing around the islands. He returned in 1595 and unsuccessfully attempted to set up a colony on Santa Cruz Island.
Today, the Solomon Islands provides a unique travel experience in the South West Pacific. The natural environment is still relatively untouched, and there are great adventure travel opportunities. Many islands are covered by dense jungle and fringed by coral reef. This is the real South Pacific with traditional culture and natural beauty. Join a South Pacific adventue today!
