The Nggela Islands (previously Florida Islands) consist of four main islands, and 50 smaller ones, situated between Guadalcanal and Malaita.

Nggela Sule is the largest of the Nggela islands. Adjacent to Mboli Passage is Watering Hole Cave. The cave extends for 500 m and contains stalactites. There is also a spider-shaped scorpion living in the cave.

Nggela Pile (small nggela) is the second largest island in the group. The eastern side of the island has a number of caves and white sandy beaches.

Buena Vista Island is located 18 km NW of Nggela Sule. It has a long sandy beach and very clear waters. Anuha Island is located 2 km off the north coast of Nggela Sule. The island previously had a resort.
