Tetepare Island is located south of New Georgia Island in Western Province, Solomon Islands.
The island is 26 km long and has a summit elevation of 357m. The island covers an area of 120 sq km, and had a population of 30 in 1970. It is currently uninhabited.
Tetepare is composed of lowland rainforest which has not been logged. A recent survey of the island found 25 reptile, 4 frog, 76 bird, and 13 mammal species.
