Tinakula Volcano Expeditions
Tinakula is a spectacular erupting volcano in the eastern Solomon Islands. Temotu Province contains some of the Pacific's most beautiful landscapes.
The trip involves a motorised canoe trip across open ocean, followed by challenging landing on the edge of the volcano, which may require swimming ashore. Tinakula has been uninhabited since the volcanic eruptions and tsunami of 1971.
Trip departs from Santa Cruz Island, Temotu Province, and lasts one week.
